In line with the hotel being as environmentally friendly as possible, they took the decision to print their literature on recycled materials.
The materials used in the main have been our Colorset 100% Recycled, Mango and our Avebury Recycled Wove (50% recycled plus cotton fibres) which has a gorgeous feel.
The following images demonstrate the wide variety of applications- a map for the grounds, a car key receipt, drinks coasters etc!

There's an interesting facet to this project... Our Colorset Mango (on the left of the pic below) wasn’t quite the right shade (to match another well known paper from Hull!) The project had to be 100% Recycled, which our Colorset is! …so they litho printed an orange solid colour on the Colorset Mango to give the colour you see on the right – and with no white edge!
To achieve this you’d need to speak to your printer and they can organise to get some samples made by their ink supplier. We send sheets of Colorset and the ink company will produce “ink draw downs” which is like a strip of ink on the paper – so they could do a few samples to get you close to your chosen colour. Once the colour is chosen, the recipe is fixed – ie that ink mix on that colour paper will give you your chosen colour. The ink reference is kept on file and will be made to that recipe, every time. It goes without saying that variations can occur on press (only the same as if printing on white paper) but providing there is a sample to match, a good match is perfectly achievable.
